Where is The Garden Lounge in Zadar?

Where is the nearest ATM?
There is an ATM machine on the festival site, in the main reception area of the apartments. In addition there are 8 other ATMs in the center of Tisno, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from The Garden Tisno.

What is the currency in Croatia?
The currency is the EURO. There is an ATM onsite and plenty in Tisno village too.

I am not staying in Tisno, or the festival village. Is there a good taxi service late at night?
Taxis can be found at the entrance to The Garden Resort in the main car park and they are metered. Be sure to ask that your driver turns on and resets their meter, as it is a legal requirement for them to do so. They must also provide you with a print-out receipt at the conclusion of your journey.

Drugs are looked upon very seriously by the Croatian Police.

Is there First Aid on site?
Yes, there will be First Aid on the festival site. They are typically located in a tent near the volleyball court. Please note that this First Aid service is only available during the festivals.

Where is the nearest hospital?
In Sibenik town, 20km away. If you need medical attention at the hospital then take your passport with you as there is a reciprocal arrangement for UK passport holders. Citizens from other countries should check with their embassy if there is a reciprocal arrangement. You should also check your travel insurance prior to travel to see what you are covered for.

Where is the lost property held?
In the main reception for the apartments or at the info point on the festival site.

What is the price of drinks on the site?
The bars have not fixed their prices for next season yet, but last year a 1/2 litre of draught beer was 30 kn and cocktails 30 kn - 70 kn. Wines, spirits and soft drinks are of course available too.

Where is there to eat?
Onsite at The Garden Resort, there is the restaurant “Magnolia” which is open from breakfast till late. Wraps and sandwiches are also sold at the beach food area. In Tisno village there are a wide range of Konobas (restaurants) to choose from, as well as a number of supermarkets.

Can we bring our own food and drink onto the site and boat parties?
Drinks are not to be brought onto the grounds, with the exception of one bottle of duty free (in original duty free packaging) per person when you arrive. Onsite guests will receive a special wristband to allow them to purchase drinks from the onsite shop to take back to their apartments / tents. Food can be brought onto back to your apartment / tent for bearers of an onsite wristband.

Can my friend collect my tickets if I am no longer able to attend?
Yes, a friend can collect your tickets if you are no longer able to attend. Just email eva@thegarden.hr with your details and the new ticket holders name and email address. We will then send a confirmation to both parties confirming that the tickets will be ready to be collected under the new name. There is a 10 GBP charge for this (to the owner of the ticket), but please note that we can not offer this service after 15th June 2018.

I can’t go anymore – can I get a refund?
Sorry, but no. However, you can pass the ticket onto a friend. See previous question on how to transfer the name on the ticket.

What time will the box office be open?

I have lost my PayPal receipt – what shall I do?
Don't panic... just email eva@thegarden.hr and we will be able to assist you.

How do I collect my tickets?
Just bring your PayPal receipt and ID to the box office to collect.

My tickets have not arrived in the post.
We do not post any tickets, but ask that you print off your PayPal receipt and bring to the box office with valid ID to collect.

Are there any guides for my iPhone to help me get around?
No, but there is a Tourist board office in Tisno that can help you.

What is the train and bus service like in Croatia?
Basically, forget trains! The buses are altogether quicker, cheaper and connect all cities with a regular service. You can buy tickets on-board the bus, but you should get a receipt, as longer journeys have service stops included in the travel time.

Can I hire a car?
Yes, so long as you are over 21 years old and have held a licence for minimum of 1 year.

How can I get from the airport to the festival site?
We recommend that you book an organised airport coach transfer through Shuttle Tours, who will bring you from Zadar or Split airport with lots of other festival revellers direct to Tisno. Their website is www.shuttletours.net
Alternatively you can make your own way to fit in with your travel plans. There are aiport buses from all airports to the main centre bus terminals, and from all cities you will find regular buses to Zadar or Sibenik. Once at Zadar / Sibenik main bus terminal take a local bus to Tisno.

What is the nearest airport?
Zadar is the nearest airport - only 40 mins by car. Split is an hour by car and Zagreb 3 hours by car. These journey times are for the highway route and will take a little longer by bus / coach.
